Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

First off $15.00 for three chicken tenders is crazy.
Secondly after I paid I was asked to pull up because there would be a 5 minute wait on my tenders.
I didn't have an issue with that, I thought well at least they will be fresh.
5 minutes turned into 20.
When I first ordered there were no other cars in the parking lot or drive-thru.
I was the only customer so I don't know what took so long.
After about 15 minutes into my waiting three other cars pulled into the drive-thru behind me.
The one directly behind me was asked to pull up as well.
After another 5 minutes a cashier came outside with an order and stopped at my car and told me it would be 5 minutes for tenders.
I informed her I had already been waiting 25 minutes.
She said "yeah sorry", shrugged and walked off to hand the car behind me their order.
Another 10 minutes passed and the other cars just pulled off.
I don't know if they ever received service.
I got out of my car to go into the lobby to ask for a refund and was met with "Oh your food is ready now." I checked the bag, they didn't give me any of the condiments I requested at the window so I had to ask for them again.
After I left and finally bit into the chicken, I was expecting it to be hotter since it was supposedly cooked fresh.
I was also disgusted to find several gray pieces in the chicken.
I bit into another piece and it was the same thing- large areas of gray.
I spit every piece out and trashed the meal.
Gray chicken is usually a sign of old chicken that is spoiled or about to be spoiled.
So not only did I waste $15.00 and 35 minutes of my life, I now have to hope I don't end up with food poisioning.

It took a few minutes longer than expected.
The boss lady gifted me an apple pie for waiting patiently.
The wings were cooked perfectly and amazing!! Yes I will be back!!

Ordered $100 worth of chicken which seemed to upset them.
Then we had to wait for chicken to come up.
Then it when it did the sides weren’t available so we waited for those, then didn’t receive them with the food.
When we came back in to get them the lady got upset and demanded the receipt.
She then filled the sides again (tossing the food in the boxes and huffing) she only half filled the fries box with soggy fries and again had to wait on biscuits.
After 30+ minutes of waiting in the store we went home and we found that all we got were thighs and legs in the 16 piece we had to wait 20 minutes in the first place for and short chicken strips, really? Wings were way over cooked or dehydrated from sitting to long.
The store on Normandy isn’t much better but less attitude.
We love Popeyes but dread going to get it anymore.
You’d think customer service was a bigger thing as expensive as it’s gotten.
