Simply delicious! We had the most authentic experience at Pollo Pepe.
Everything from how clean the place was, the perfectly grilled -true to the original recipe- chicken and that tasty flavor we all love made us feel right at home! Our kids were so thrilled to FINALLY have one of their favorite restaurants now In San Antonio! Our visit was made even more special by the top-notch service and personalized attention from Hector M., who from the moment we walked in greeted us with a smile and made sure everything was exactly how we ordered it.
Don't just take our word for it and go get yourself some Pollo Pepe as soon as you can.

I have to say, Pollo Pepe is worth all the hype it has been getting.
In my opinion, it is the best Mexican-style Pollo I have ever had in SA.
The chicken is cooked and marinated to perfection, and the sides are outstanding.
The beans, rice, and macaroni salad, and the salsas were super tasty, leaving you begging for more.
What surprised me the most was the corn tortillas which had such a fresh masa taste that would have you wanting to take a dozen home.
The service was on point, with the manager welcoming all customers.
I give it a 5-star review!!

My first time here at Pollo Pepe and was very impressed.
I was greeted by the cashier eye to eye, as soon as I walked in.
Chicken had great flavor and fell off the bone.
Sides were served at perfect temperature and restaurant was very clean inside and out.
