Verdict: Highly Recommended Been here twice now with the new refreshed Japanese menu.
Food is excellent with the new menu.
Have been able to try the sukiyaki, karaage, ebi tempura and the seven fishes sushi which were all exceptional. Service is prompt and attentive.
It’s always a pleasant time here. Ambiance is great, although wish they refreshed the interiors a bit but still nice nonetheless.

Pod is back! If you enjoyed Pod in the past then you’ll love this updated version in the same place in University City.
The decor is updated but the service is as great as you may recall in the past.
The menu is diverse although of course on a Japanese-fusion theme ranging from sushi/sashimi to noodles and rice to fuller entrees.
Do try the desserts too! Definitely recommended for a visit into the city or if you live nearby - a classic place returns and even better!
