Pizza restaurant, American restaurant, Restaurant
I moved to the area less than a year ago from Chicago and was so, so excited to find a place called Piece of Chicago. The pictures looked amazing, and I was so stoked to find a temporary cure to homesickness. However, it became apparent no one making the food has ever eaten any good in Chicago. The pizza is passable, though not particularly good. The crust is too thick and the sausage is just crumbles. The hotdogs, though, despite being advertised as Vienna Beef are definitely not and as seen in the picture, these aren’t Chicago style. Maybe I’m being too picky, but I will not order from here again.I’m so sad it missed the mark by so much.
Food is descent and many selections.I have never been in a business that needs cleaned and painted right this second. The employees are the least kind and openly hostile people I have ever experienced in my entire life.Look at the menu online and don't have questions or special requests.
This is my second time ordering, the first time the food was so good, I decided to give it a second shot. This time my chicken and fries were over cooked. They both were hard and tasted like wood. It will be sometime before I return. Also I asked for hot wings with ranch dressing, I got plain wings with hot sauce. This experience was really bad.
