I only got takeout so I cannot comment on the dining experience. A friend turned me on to the Pho Chicken Soup while I wasn’t feeling well because the broth is marinated for 24+hrs making it very hardy and full of nutrients for immune recovery (that’s what my friend convinced me of at least). I also added mixed veggies for even more nutrients. It was REALLY good, but has a bit more salt than I would like. I went back 2 more times for the yummy pho chicken soup and also added chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce.
Tastes amazing and very generous portions! Will recommend the pho - the broth was rich and the noodles, meat, and other garnishes were fresh and tasted great.
So happy to find this eclectic gem in the bustling area of Yale, New Haven, Connecticut. They serve Laotian and Thai dishes. The crab puffs were delightfully creamy with tastiest dip. The crispy rice dish was also superb, so packed with flavors and textures. The pho could be better though, maybe they were having an off day since judging by their other stellar dishes their namesake dish should be great.A seasonal special is their Lao donuts served with taro cream and condensed milk.Served warm, the skin was crispy but the insides were soft.Swoon!
