The food was absolutely amazing, the mofongo was fresh and the portions were huge, the service was excellent, the only downside is having to go down the long flight of stairs.
I agree with the other reviews saying the food is salty.I had the papa rellenos bites and it was oily and the beef was salty. Not really good.I tried the Birria tacos and that was pretty salty too.I also tried the Pastelon (picture attached) and there was hardly any beef.A tiny thin layer. You get a mouthful of cheese and sweet plantain.Wish it was better! Don’t know if I will try anything else.
Check out my YouTube channel aboricualifeinusa and Instagram and please subscribe.I went for the alcapurritas and empanadillas. They were great.A bit small and pricy , but nonetheless good.Customer service was great. The size and place was the reason for the 4 stars. If the place was bigger and street level it could've have been a 5.
