Sorry, this is long-winded. TL:DR This was a comfortable little restaurant with delicious Persian food.8/10 This was my first time eating here.I'd had Persian food on a few different occasions, but I'm still pretty new to the cuisine. The location is a bit strange or secluded, and might lead you to think of this restaurant as a "hole-in-the-wall".The interior is very nice however.Very polished, if small. You can tell they put a lot of work into creating a comfortable space.More of a bistro or cafe than a typical "hole-in-the-wall". When I was seated, they brought over some very thin and mild bread (lavash, I think).I recommend eating this with your entre or ordering a dip, as it's good on its own but was better as a compliment to what I had ordered. I ordered the baghale polo with lamb shank.I really loved the melt in your mouth lamb, though the baghale polo was good too.I'd never had it before, so i didn't really know what to expect. It's basically a fava bean and dill pilaf served with the lamb shank that had been braised in a thin tomato sauce. The basmati rice was pretty fluffy; not the way I'd have expected, but it sounds like that's the traditional way. My meal plus a bottled beverage came out to around $28 after taxes. It was plenty of food for that price. The service was excellent (if sometimes too attentive). Two notes to the owner: 1) My biggest complaint is that the lavash didn't come hot or with a dip.It was good to have at all (it was free after all), but it would have been that much better if you had provided something besides a pat of ice-cold and rock-hard butter.Maybe some room temp butter or olive oil.It doesn't need to be an expensive dip like humus, either.Honestly, if there had been no butter at all, it would have attracted less attention to the deficit. 2) My second complaint was that menu pricing was out of date.I was charged $25 for my meal when the posted price was only $22.This really needs to be fixed ASAP as the laws in CA regarding posted prices are nothing to mess around with.Prices change, just make sure they are displayed properly.

Hi Jason Thank you very much for visiting us & for your review. We make sure to take care of things you mentioned.
Great place for take-out compared to dining in.Food was great!!! Service was good.Friendly.Will definitely order from this place for take out only. It’s really the only Persian dining place in Santa Clarita. The Tahdig (crunchy rice) did not seem fresh. It was extra hard, even with stew on top.Other than that, the rest of the food was excellent!
The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The place is small with limited seating, but the owner is very pleasant and inviting. I love Persian cuisine and this restaurant has the goods. Looking forward to our next meal!
