September 04, 2024Papaye is a cozy West African gem right in the Bronx! 🥘 I stopped by for lunch and was immediately welcomed by the fragrant aroma of spices wafting from the kitchen. I opted for the jollof rice and waakye, both bursting with flavor, though I wish the jollof hadn’t been as oily. The generous portions certainly made up for it!
The casual vibe, complete with a fireplace, makes it a comfortable spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. 🚀 Just be prepared for a little wait during busy hours. I'll definitely give it another shot! 🌟
