Everything I tried at this restaurant was so flavorful and the presentation was very nice. You will get a good sized mail course but the appetizers are a little small. This place is a little pricey but different and fun
I am in Des Moines on a business trip and have been looking for great places to eat.We don’t have a Peruvian restaurant like this at home, so when I saw it listed on a Reddit thread for Des Moines restaurants I was SO EXCITED! Authentic Peruvian food can be hard to come by, and this certainly fits the bill. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they put love into the food. It’s not really listed on any of the main food blogs about top Des Moines restaurants (Eater, Trip Advisor, etc.) and it really really should be.I got the Causa de Pollo to start followed by the Ceviche Mixto. Both were phenomenal. The prices and atmosphere are tinkering on the border of fine dining, and that said it is worth every penny. You are doing a disservice if you don’t not dine here if visiting Des Moines.Thank you for the great meal! Oh and don’t forget to begin or end your meal with a pisco sour (not pictured)!
The atmosphere is so nice and the food is amazing! We happened to get there during happy hour which goes until 7 pm even on Friday so that was cool. We got a small happy hour appetizer (Peruvian ceviche) that was so flavorful! My husband got the arroz con mariscos and I got the tacu tacu. Both were so good and made me want to come back to try more! They even surprised me with a birthday treat. It was such a lovely experience! And the owner Mariella is so kind and lovely!!
