Mold in my strawberries.Burnt potatoes and eggs.A piece of ceramic pot in a vegetable stew they had as a special.I used to love this place so I gave it several tries after the first time I had my first mishap with the shard of ceramic in my food.But this Salem location has a low standard for quality control and it’s disappointing :/ hope they can improve but I’m not taking any more chances…

Ada, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience.The fruit was cut fresh this morning, but we apologize that you got a piece that should have been tossed! Our breakfast sandwich which you ordered this morning does not come with potatoes, but we are happy to replace your breakfast in full and offer you some potatoes to try! What a fantastic bakery! This is a popular place with very good pastries, so get there early or else they will be sold out.I purchased an assortment to take to a meeting, including blueberry, mixed berry, cranberry lemon scones, an almond croissant, a blueberry muffin, and a mixed berry pastry.I thoroughly enjoyed the Cranberry lemon scone.It was on the drier side of the scone spectrum but very fresh, tasty, and the perfect amount and balance of fruit.
