I remember this as a good breakfast spot from years back.The lunch we had not so much.Flounder taste like frozen fish sticks, no flavor.Cole slaw was good.Chopped steak had no flavor & poor texture.We took it home to a family member 's dog.I was concerned when the dog did not eat it, but was told he didn't eat while someone was watching. When I came back an hour later, it was no longer on the plate, so guess he ate it much to my relief.Everyone was polite, but not what I would call friendly from the hostess to the server to the cashier.

We stopped here on our way to Charlottesville, VA.I had steak fajita salad and they give you a lot of food.The steak was cooked perfectly but I feel like it needed it own sauce because ranch didn't go well with it.My husband said his patty melt was lacking flavor but his fries were cooked perfectly.My kids got chicken tenders and fries which they enjoyed with their BBQ sauce and Honey Mustard.

Famous Anthony’s Salem. People waiting to be seated. 5 staff members at the cashier. Why is no one cleaning tables and seating people? Even the manager is doing nothing. One would think everyone standing around would pitch in to clean tables to seat customers. Very very poor management. All of this on front of waiting customers. Ridiculous

We’re sorry about your experience with us.If your visit was this morning, we ran into some staffing challenges in the kitchen.Our front team is usually on point with cleaning tables, but they may have been asked to delay seating due to our kitchen being overwhelmed.Either way, we should have done a better job of communicating it with the guests.We appreciate the feedback and will make adjustments so this doesn’t happen again.
