This was by far the best oxtail I’ve had in the state.
I’m from the east coast and I grew up around a lot of Jamaicans Who cooked authentic Jamaican food and this is what I have to say is the epitome of just that.
Anybody who says anything else is talking out of their a**.
The only thing I’m upset about is that I only discovered them the week I’m moving out of LA but I will be making the best of this last week.
Also the festivals are amazing cabbage was Cooked.
Kudos to the chef!!!

This place gets 2 stars, mostly because of bad service.
I'm assuming the "dude" in there mean muggin' and staring at paying customers was the owner.
The cashier looked "afraid" of him and made sure to look at him before answering any question asked of her.
The oxtails and meat patty were good.
The lack of forks or napkins wasn't good.
What also wasn't good was after having to go back in and ask for forks and napkins was being given 1 fork and 1 napkin for 2 people.
The lemon cake was missing either eggs or milk, I couldn't tell which.
Yeah - No.
I won't be back.

I absolutely love this place! I come here all the time because the food and people are amazing.
I’m from Brooklyn and my family is Caribbean on both sides since moving to LA I was searching for good Jamaican food and this is the BEST spot in the entire state for real!! The food is always phenomenal and the people are so sweet and always friendly.
I take everyone here.
Highly HIGHLY recommend!
