Olive Tree Mediterranean-Vegan-vegetarian

There are already good vegan options on the menu, but we discussed with Sophia what we liked and she suggested something perfect.
We had a lentil wrap and falafel on pita: she added whole garlic cloves.
Excellent and good fries with it. Sophia herself is part of the charm: she asked about our trip, told us a bit about her business history, showed us brochures about her home island. Travelers: the restaurant isn’t right on Pine Street but off the alley that runs beside the building.

After years of the other half raving about this restaurant, we had to make the drive out to try it. We were not disappointed.
They were extremely friendly and the food was outstanding! We started with the Skordalia and the Dolmades.
The Skordalia was a dish I'd never had before, but highly recommend because it was delicious! The Dolmades were the best I've ever had in my life... For dinner we did Moussaka and Kota Lemonati and both were also delicious.
The Moussaka in particular was excellent. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting some Baklava and Kourabiedes, which were so good that they didn't last long at all. I was particularly amazed by the variety of Baklava and Biscotti they had there, I've never seen so much and wanted to try them all! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, it is outstanding!

What a great place! Owner/Chef/Waitstaff Sophia greeted us warmly and made us welcome.
Excellent homemade soups and Greek appetizers.
We got the large sample appetizer platter which was delicious 😋 ( see photo).
Artichoke soup very good.
She made a vegan spanakopita which was great.
Salads and sandwiches with great variety, all lovingly prepared and served fresh with a smile.
So many beautiful Greek pastries, baklava, cookies, baked goods....but we were too full to partake after our meal ( see photos). Sophia's home is in Karpathos Island, Greece 🇬🇷.
She shared tour books of her island.
She visited with us ( second photo) and made us yearn for the tourquoise blue sea surrounding her island.
Hope to see it someday! There are 5 indoor and one outdoor tables.
Reservations reccomended.
CASH only, so come prepared, although she has an ATM machine in her restaurant in case you need to access cash! Definitely, a fine Greek restaurant! 🙂
