My wife told me this place is good and she was right. The food was great and the service was excellent as well.I had the trout with sweet baked potato and macaroni and it was delicious and it was a lot as well I couldn't finish. All of their main dish comes with corn muffin and I was surprise that was good as well.I am not really a big fan of corn bread or corn muffin. My wife had the meat loaf and that was delicious as well and I'm not a big fan of meat loaf.
OK Cafe is a fun local favorite for breakfast. We went after an early church service on Easter. It was crowded with a few large parties waiting for a table. Our party of 4 was seated immediately. The waitstaff was quick to arrive at the table to welcome us and offer beverages.Even better, they were quick to bring refills and kept the coffee warm. I ordered Two eggs with bacon and grits and a biscuit. The eggs were cooked as ordered (over hard) and everything tasted great. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes, which covered the plate. You can choose the quantity (1-3) you want.He ended up sharing with our sons! Our sons ordered a vegetable omelette and a chicken biscuit. All plates were empty.
Always an enjoyable dining experience. Had dinner here Monday night (15Jan’24)at 7:30PM and was pleasantly greeted by the hostess/cashier and seated immediately. The OK cafe is great for home cooking /comfort food. Our server, Chanel was personable and very customer focused. I ordered the Turkey dinner with broccoli and the outstanding Waldorf Salad. The restaurant brings back memories of the all American diner from years past. Always great and consistent food with excellent friendly service. I would recommend and will dine at OK cafe again.
