I’d rate this place a 3.5 almost a 4.
I ordered a basic spicy salmon roll for 10.99, it was ok, it didn’t blow my mind and I felt like the roll was very quickly put together (the rice wasn’t fully sticky around the fish) even tho they weren’t that busy when I went in.
But the place seemed cleaned, had friendly staff and an outdoor seating area in the back.
I’d be back for a quick lunch/dinner but i wouldn’t go out of my way.

Customer service was good. The sushi rolls are always good. We tried something new, Three Colored Fire Balls.
I don’t recommend them, they tasted like they were made a day before if not a couple days before.
We also tried the Jalapeño Bombs those were a little much.
The filling is similar to the California roll crab stuffed in a jalapeño then deep fried.
I do recommend the sushi.

i don’t like to leave bad reviews but i just wouldn’t recommend this place if you want sushi. as other reviewers mentioned, the nigiri are paper-thin slices of fish on top of rice.. i also ordered the caterpillar roll to play it safe 🐛 to find it very skimpily portioned; hardly any unagi in it at all. the miso soup was great as it should always be. it hasn’t been easy looking for good sushi in this particular zone of santa rosa. the servers were kind 💚 the food though was depressing and honestly a big waste of money :/
