NYFC Restaurant & Fresh Market

This place looks rough around the edges, both inside and out.
However, the employees are always nice and respectful, even when there’s only one employee working. The main reason I created this post was because of the kitchen.
The food from the kitchen is AMAZING!!! The fact that it’s fresh, always, and high quality ingredients, but for hood prices!!! You can’t bet it.
Especially for the fact that they ring up hot food under link/ebt. One of the only places in East Garfield Park that takes link/ebt.

Hate to give a 1 star but...
everything was kinda trash.
A whole pizza puff meal and order of extra fries were missing.
"Mild sauce" was covering the cheese sticks when marinara sauce was specifically requested.
The gym shoe meat was over cooked and dry/ freezer burned maybe? Everything just tasted...
off.
Doordash reimbursed 1/4 of the order but...
yeah, you're better off getting this type of food from the dollar tree down the street.

This place is horrible! I should have known better to order seafood from a mini mart.
I order king crab legs lobster tail and shrimp.
The king crab legs where over cooked and tasted like ammonia! (Not sure if they use ammonia to clean) They cooked the lobster tail still in the shell.
(It was dried out but mushy in certain spots) The shrimp were the only thing that taste ok.
They sell chicken, tacos, hamburgers cell phone chargers, cigarettes laundry detergent other item (not sure if the other food is as bad as the seafood) But I wouldn’t recommend getting seafood from a mini mart!
