September 19, 2024Nunn's Bar-B-Cue II serves up some of the best BBQ in Detroit, but my recent visit left me a bit mixed.
The rib tips were super tender and smothered in a smoky BBQ sauce that hit the spot. The candied yams were delightful, possibly my favorite, while the greens added a nice kick (just a touch too peppery for my taste). 😊
However, I was disappointed with the mac and cheese - it was greasy and lacked the creamy cheesiness I remember. Plus, the prices have risen; I ended up spending more than expected. Still, overall, it's comforting soul food worth trying for the ribs alone! 😋
