NORMS Restaurant

3 am and still have to wait around 20 minutes for a table cause this place is just a mess, nasty, and dirty like I've never seen any other NORMS location.
Every single table was dirty, floor, not to mention the restroom...
I'm sure a porta potty in skid row is cleaner.
Corporate manager and Health department should take a look on this ASAP.

Their parking lot is HUGE! Much larger than the actual capacity of the restaurant.
We popped in on Sunday afternoon and the place was PACKED.
We put our names down and asked about the wait.
After about 20 minutes we inquired about an estimated wait time and we were told that the hostess at the front is separate from the person managing the tables and that she couldn't give us an accurate time? But that it would be a few minutes.
It just seems like they were slammed and didn't have a cohesive flow for seating parties.
Several people came in later and were seated before us, and I understand because they were smaller parties of one or two people.
But it would have been nice to have some clarity or at least an estimate so we can make our plans. We were finally seated and we were quickly able to place our food and drink order.
My only issue was that our food (the adult's entrees for myself and my husband) came out and then it took an additionally 15 minutes for our children's food to come out.
We of course fed them from our plate while we waited for their food to come out but if you've ever dealt with hungry toddlers, they would much rather eat the fries and Mac and cheese they requested versus mommy's veggie omelette. Personally, I wouldn't give this location another visit.
I've been to other norm's and the food was better.

NORMS! Revisited one of our favorite diner style restaurants after a rather long sabbatical.
This time we found Norms back as we remembered it.
Lots of diner food, reasonably priced.
In addition we had an excellent server taking care of us today.
I had the blackened whitefish, baked potato with Albondigas soup and salad.
My husband had the sirloin with Gumbo.
We are happy to add Norms back on our list of restaurants we like to visit in the Valley.
