This taco spot is inside a gas station/convenience store in Oak Cliff. The Al pastor is great here. The barbacoa wasn’t bad. Found this spot in a Texas Monthly article.First time going.Friendly staff and service. There are a few tables in the gas station otherwise do takeout. The chef here used to work at Chilangos (hence the Coca Cola tables). Although the Al pastor was great, I know better taco spots that are closer and so not sure if I’d make the trek back here.Worth trying once though if you want good Al pastor!
The gas station door opens. You see red metal Coca Cola tables and chairs leading to a bright white ordering counter.Behind it, the husband and wife team of Neza York are serving up CDMX classics. They warmly offer recommendations and laugh and joke with each other while preparing your order. They explain the dishes and the history behind the food. You sit down at a metal chair, slather jalapeno onion salsa on the tacos, pop open a Modelo from the coolers, and hear The Beatles "Don't Let Me Down" over the speakers as you take your first bite. You relax, transport to Mexico City side streets, and slowly work your way towards a food coma. This was a good day.

Muchas gracias! There is no other way than explaining what you experienced as what we want our customers to experience and feel when they come in!
I haven’t had tacos this good since I was in Mexico D.F. My parents are from there and I was raised on Mexico City style tacos. Here are the highlights: 1.You get grilled onions and a Chile toreado 2.The corn tortillas are slightly oiled so they have a little crisp 3.The meats were cut perfectly!! I often find that a lot of places cut meat chunks way too big and in my opinion, that’s now how street taco meat should be chopped. 4.The suadero was cooked to PERFECTION!! Chopped in small chunks. It was crispy yet chewy. The perfect texture. I hope they expand their menu in the future to include sopes or gorditas! Overall my parents loved this place and we can’t wait to try the pork ribs on our next visit!
