We frequent Charlotte since my husband is here quite often for work.
My youngest daughter & I are always looking for great places to dine, and convenience.
Nana Morrison’s did not disappoint.
My little one said their Mac n cheese is the best she’s ever had (I was low key offended 😂).
She ate all of the cabbage and Mac n cheese, and I enjoyed yams and fried chicken.
The food was great, but the customer service was top tier.
From the gentleman who took our order and prepared our food, to the super courteous young lady working the register.
We even encountered a younger gentleman cleaning, as it was close to closing & he was extremely kind to my daughter.
We will definitely add this to our list of regulars when we are in town.

The food looked good but it had NO flavor! NO season! I got the pork chop and it was extremely dry and overcooked! The green beans were watery and rice had no flavor..not even the gravy! This was so disappointing! I want to continue to support but this was my second time and it’s overpriced.
However they were accommodating in changing out my meat and I tried the chicken wings which were just ok.
I can’t call this soul food..just some cooked food! 🙃

The food here was EXCELLENT.
I got the catfish, cabbage, Mac n cheese, with cornbread-everything was perfect.
I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Charlotte. They did, however, forget my Daughter’s order but gave her a free dessert to make up for it (so we ended up finishing our food before she got hers).
She enjoyed her food as well.
I gave 4 stars instead 5 only because they forgot to make her meal (she ordered fish as well which had to be special ordered).
