September 05, 2024Motor City Soul Food usually delivers good vibes and comforting dishes, but my recent visit left me craving the past.
The fried chicken was still a standout, perfectly crispy and juicy. However, the greens were overwhelmingly spicy, making them hard to enjoy. I was disappointed with the macaroni, as it lacked the creamy texture I remembered.
The service could use a boost; the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and unfriendly. On a busy day, it felt chaotic.
I hope they find their groove again because Detroit needs this gem! 🌟
