American restaurant, Breakfast restaurant
Iâm just gonna leave some constructive criticism right here.1)Even though your job isnât considered âa profession,â you should still exhibit professionalism. When a customer approaches the counter to order, whether itâs a regular or someone youâve never seen there before.Stop the personal conversations and greet the customer.2) telling a customer thank you and youâre welcome isnât a sign of weakness, itâs a sign of good manners and should be the norm 3) a salad should have a good amount of lettuce. My chicken salad had about half cup of lettuce and the rest was chicken. That wasnât a salad, it was chicken with lettuce. The chicken was good but I wanted a salad, not a plate of chicken.Last thing, a chicken salad shouldnât put someone in a coma.About an hour after eating, I felt like I had been drugged and couldnât stay awake for anything.Couldnât carry a conversation without dozing off while talking. Not normal and scary.I still feel extremely tired the day after.
I love a diner! Sitting on a stool, watching the folks making your food while joking with their coworkers, there's something very appealing there. I just missed breakfast (11:20 a.m.) even though the big screen was still showing it.The lady working the register quickly asked if I needed a menu.Wow, that's a lot of choices. And since I could sit all day trying yo decide, I just went with a couple of coney dogs. They were placed in front of me about 1 minute later, 1 per styrofoam container. Not a fan of styrofoam but a lot of their business is carry-out so it makes sense. And no plates to wash, either. It is a small place. The dogs were good but both buns were a little dried out on one end.Not off-putting but not the expected soft steamed buns I was expecting. And only $3 each. 20 minutes later I was back to work.
Amazing place! First time in Detroit and they gave us the best gastronomy experience. The environment inside is fantastic! Something that you need to visit if you go to Detroit đđ˝
