First, this place has some seriously good BBQ! We ate here on a Sunday in February 2024, and it was great! Don't let the look of the building fool you, tasty BBQ waits inside.
We had a sampler plate, shrimp sandwich, and pork sandwich.
Everything was delicious.
Everything was cooked well, down to the shrimp on the sandwich.
Its definitely worth a visit or several.

The food was good, but way overpriced.
After tip and tax $30 for the catfish platter (w/ LG drink & banana pudding). I placed the order online and get there a couple of minutes after they said it would be ready.
I pulled around the drive thru, and some idiot is sitting at the window.
I waited for about 5 minutes, nobody came to the window and the woman is just sitting there with her door propped open like she is waiting.
So I go around and walkin, and all of the employees are in the kitchen.
I wait for a few minutes and finally, an employee.
She gets my order, and I check it, no banana pudding.
This would've been the 2nd time they forgot the banana pudding.
It's expensive for just a little tiny cup.
Also, the cornbread was terrible.
If it wasn't a couple days old I'd be shocked, and it was so dry I darn near choked to death. Terrible experience overall.
So disappointing.
I fully understand why they keep having to shutdown locations.

I just want to say that both the service and food at this location have declined.
I a brisket plate with collards and onion rings with ice water.
The brisket was tough.
The collards were undercooked and sweet.
The onion rings tasted like they were fried in burnt grease.
The prompt for a tip in the drive thru, but fail to put silverware or napkins in the bag.
I have attempted to give them chances, but i would rather head across the street to other options and pay less than $25 for better food and service.
