MOD Pizza

This place was great.
Loved that I got all the toppings I wanted.
The dough & the Berry lemonade was very refreshing.
The atmosphere was so good that we called friends told them the location they came and we are and talked for hours.
It was so great.
Definitely coming back

My coworkers and I used to frequent Mod for lunch and LOVED it - the food, service and vibe! Then it started going downhill about a year ago in quality, not having ingredients, getting rid of toppings, and either the quality of the employees or employee morale … hard to tell bc sometimes a blurred line.
We kept giving it a chance and each time, it collectively got worse.
Today sealed the deal for me that I won’t be back. Firstly, the two people working the front line worked at a snail’s pace.
Was hoping they’d win me over with their awesome personalities like your staff used to have, but no.
Not even the faintest smiles or positive tone of voice.
The guy prepping my pizza told me even that he didn’t have an ingredient (rosemary seasoning) and that only the other line had it which is literally three steps to his right.
They couldn’t make the simple Dillon James bc they were out of tomatoes and basil.
Then looked and he was nearly out of everything or “soupy” remains.
I wish I had taken a picture of his work station.
What a mess! I could totally understand if it was messy if he was working really quickly or moving customers through but this was not the case. Cashier was also a pizza maker so I know they were short, but instead tried to get her coworkers attention on how many tickets came through to show her frustration instead of just trying to get out of the weeds.
The process of the same person building your pizza from start to finish was not more efficient either.
The girl firing the pizza was decent.
Then to the bev station, no sweet tea or Marion blackberry lemonade, my fav part.
The remnants of what was supposed to be sweet tea looked like frothy melted creamsicle and not in a good way.
It was opaque.
See pic. Clearly this location was struggling but definitely haven’t liked some of the corporate changes either.
The brand promise of [We’re all about choice.
The MOD experience is built around high-quality, personalized products delivered superfast.] is not there at all anymore.
I hated to see this outcome for Mod.

The workers were very friendly.
They prepared our pizzas expediently! I love picking out the ingredients I want on my pizza.
Everything was fresh and super delicious! Can't wait to go back!
