We chose Mission BBQ as our wedding caterer, and while the overall experience had its ups and downs, we were ultimately pleased with the outcome. The food tasting was great.
They walked us through each of the meats, sides, and sauces, making it easy to select our menu.
However, the communication throughout the planning process was poor, which almost made us reconsider our decision.
The high turnover at the company made it challenging to plan, as we often had to re-explain our preferences and requirements to new staff members. On the wedding day, I was genuinely relieved when they pulled up, as I had been worried they might not show up.
The cost was reasonable for a wedding, which was a significant plus.
The serving staff were kind and did a good job, but there was a hiccup when they almost left before cutting and serving our wedding cake.
My husband had to track them down as they were packing up the van to remind them about the cake. Despite these issues, the food was good, and our guests were impressed.
Overall, while the planning process was stressful, the quality of the food and the cost-effectiveness made it a worthwhile choice.

Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service from a friendly staff.
We were there at noon, and they halted operations as the manager invited everyone to stand and join in the singing of the national anthem.
My new favorite restaurant. Update - We went there again today, and it was even better than it was before.
The most brisket was delicious and I even got some of the burnt ends (BBQ candy).
My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which was piled high on the bun.
During the course of our visit, five different staff members spoke to us.
It felt like I was eating with family.
