One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Food is authentic and delicious! I got tacos this time and my daughter got cheese quesadilla, but everyone MUST try the flaming fajitas!!! Fantastic!!!!
Went here before a show and I have lived in Michigan most of my life, and never discovered Mexicantown.Lets just say I will be back....and back again and again.Michigan has some of the best Mexican food and I knew that this place would not disappoint me at all.....in fact it blew me away.Love the food...the ambience....the people.....and the atmosphere.Come and enjoy some serious deliciousness right here in the D
It turned out to be a disappointing date night. First, the margarita carafe was a disappointing mix and tasted like something I could have gotten from Costco. We were really hoping for something that tasted more home-made but still traditional. My wife ordered a chile relleno, and it appeared as though it was cut-up already and nothing was actually inside a pablano pepper. Ultimately we weren't sure it actually was a chile rellano. Lastly, I ordered the steak fajita. I asked for it without tomatoes or green peppers (they just waste space in the tortilla) but it arrived with both. Lastly, the menu described the steak fajita as being made with skirt steak. I don't know what they actually used, but it tasted like the kind of beef that comes from a pot roast that had been poached rather than a tasty skirt steak. Ultimately, I need to remember not to come here again until both the margaritas and menu staples are improved.
