Matsu brings a vibrant sushi experience to Seattle’s stadium district, perfect for pre-game dining or an intimate night out. This chic lounge boasts an inviting atmosphere and attentive service, making it a local favorite. While their specialty rolls and sashimi shine, feedback notes that the nigiri rice can be hit or miss. The impressive drink menu, featuring refreshing cocktails like their popular old-fashioned, adds to the allure. Though it can get a bit pricey, the happy hour sushi deals make it a worthwhile stop!

September 20, 2024Matsu offers a unique ambiance that’s perfect for date nights or gatherings. 🌟 The decor is inviting, and the team provides excellent service throughout your visit. Although I had high hopes for their sushi, the rice quality really threw me off - overcooked and not well-portioned.
The bluefin tuna sampler was delightful, and the amaebi had a great flavor, but other nigiri styles left much to be desired.
On the positive side, my son's California roll was a hit, and the passion fruit lemonade was refreshing! Overall, if you come for the ambiance and good service, Matsu could be a fun experience... just manage your expectations on the sushi! 🍣✨
