We really enjoyed this restaurant, especially the service.Alan did a wonderful job taking care of us (thanks for the creme brulee dessert!).We were very impressed by most everything. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the scallops were cooked perfectly, the sauces were amazingly delicious, and I would love to have been able to give this place five stars.Unfortunately, the shrimp in both of our dishes was way overcooked. You could hear the plate crashing against the shrimp when you bang the shrimp against it, which should never happen. You would think a place like this would know well enough not to cook shrimp until it's completely dry and hard.Otherwise, a really nice experience.
A friend I was meeting for dinner and catch up in Seattle suggested we try out 13 coins.Interesting name as it is not clear what they specialize in.Anyway we met there and were pleasantly surprised by atmosphere and decor.Pretty cool looking place with amazing decor and furniture.Staff were really friendly with Blake (aka Teddy) being especially attentive and super cool dude.Gave great service and great laughs.Truly great service! Thanks Blake 🙏 🇿🇦 Food was decent. The steak bites were a little small and tough. Not cooked medium rare the way we requested.Calamari was good and onion rings were great. We also had the frittata and lobster 🦞 Mac & Cheese 🧀 all pretty tasty and served fast.Although the place was not too busy, I’m sure it has some crazy days being so big.Loves the large high back style bar chairs.Great place and worth the pop in!

Went here for dinner. We were seated right away. Our server, Chuck, was the absolute best! Very engaging and friendly. He gave us some meal suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. The warm bread and butter and little charcuterie platter were an awesome pre meal treat.I ordered the chicken Parm.It was so so good.It had a crispy light exterior , seasoned just right. The chicken was tender and moist. The entire breast was covered with cheese and a savory , creamy, luxurious white sauce that hoky pokied across your tongue. The spaghetti that came with it was definitely a side note that could not be ignored. My cosNomotilan(mocktail) was a great compliment to the meal. The meal ended with a nice rich brewed cup of coffee, perfect for a chilly night.Chuck came by through out the meal and offered witty conversation and really made the meal a success.I highly recommend this eatery!
