Restaurant, Bar
Cozy bar with couches and big comfy seats throughout.Friendly service.Pool table, ping pong and a few pin ball machines round out the atmosphere.
Relaxed and casual.Fun rowdy ping pong table with lots of regulars and tournaments.Thete is also a single pool table that rotates in and out of use-- people are more interested in ping pong.Minimal amount of lottery crowd in here which is nice the focus isn't all on the machines they're peripheral.Big booths for large parties, living room style seating around the TV, bar seating, and a massive back patio covered and uncovered with a fire pit. This is not your average bar food! Indulge in the kitchen which has a separate ordering station. Outside food is welcome. This is a regular spot for most of the people that work around St.Johns and has a neighborhood vibe.
This place is truly incredible.Marie's features quite the engaging ping pong experience (competitive for those that are interested, friendly for those that are new, and always receptive to spectators), an outdoor fire out back, generous drinks, enough TVs to occupy those that can't turn away from the latest game, and out well-beloved bartenders. Their drinks are generously affordable as is their food, and well worth it. The cook of the place is especially wonderful, and I believe she is contracted by Sandberg Sandwiches.I only wish that her menu options were broadened a bit more so as to beat out Slim's nearby, but their quality has remained superb. An every-weekend visit.
