Salvadoran restaurant
This is a Salvadoran restaurant, NOT Tex-Mex.Don't let Google tell you otherwise! I had the pupusas (with luscious pickled cabbage on the side) and a house salad that had delicious thin strips of chicken on it. I ordered horchata, but the drink I was served was NOT the rice beverage I'd expected. It was gritty and oddly flavored, so I don't recommend it. Lastly, language was a barrier for me.Everyone was so sweet and kind, however, so we muddled through.Guess I need to improve on my restaurant Spanish ASAP! 😅
Food is ok.Ordered the pollo asado ( grilled chicken ) I did not like it, chicken tasted very smoky, and it was pretty dry.The orchata had a weird taste to it.Service was great so that’s why my 3 stars.Food was bad.
Food was good with some interesting items to try.I got the Sampler and so had a variety of items. We also got a fish platter with shrimp and rice and beans. The papussa were especially good an unique.basically stuffed corn fat tortilla but soft with stringy cheese. We really enjoyed the meal.
