September 06, 2024I recently visited Lee's Kitchen in Raleigh, and I have mixed feelings.
I tried the curry goat and rice and peas - absolutely delicious, with rich, vibrant flavors that truly transported me to the Caribbean. 🌴 However, I was a bit disappointed with the jerk chicken; it was spicy but lacked that authentic depth of flavor I crave.
The atmosphere is casual and trendy, perfect for a laid-back lunch, but be prepared for a bit of a wait. The prices are decent, but the portion sizes felt a bit stingy. I might return for the goat, but not for the jerk chicken next time... 🍽️
