We stopped for lunch while traveling through Denver.The people were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.The food was served quickly and was delicious.We ordered the vegetarian sampler with beef ribs added.We also had the lentil samosas.We will definitely visit again when we travel through Denver.

It’s a really nice place, the service was great, he explained us with detail what was his food like due to it was our first time having Ethiopian food. We got the veggie combo, it was delicious. It’s a must try!

I think Denver does Ethiopian food pretty well, and it’s always fun trying new restaurants.Mama Africa Cafe was no different.This is a true gem in Denver and I’m so grateful they opened up because I’ve been hoping for a new Ethiopian restaurant that I haven’t tried.We had the veggie combo with lamb tibs and it was unbelievably delicious.The honey wine was not too sweet so it’s worth a try, and their Ethiopian lager was delicious too.We cannot wait to go back and eat here again!
