Maharlika is my new favorite spot for Filippino take out! This mom and pop shop is cash only, and take out only.
They offer fabulous prices and generous portions.
Their signature broasted chicken is incredibly crispy and juicy, a definite rival to other fried chicken places.
One of my favorite dishes is the signature pork sinigang- a tangy tamarind soup.
We also had the chicken adobo which melts in your mouth.
Daily combo plates are only $6.50 and come with two generous items + rice.
The owner is super nice, I wish I could adopt him!

Go there for the good food, not the mood of the owners. Just ignore the SUNGITRY and your palate would be rewarded 🤣. Have not been there in years, but I can’t forget how good their chicken was 🍗.

I'm from Savannah Georgia where fried chicken is its own food group and let me tell you this made me feel like I was at home and my grandma was cooking her famous fried chicken! Just go and try it.
