My visit to Mägo for Oakland Restaurant Week was a mixed bag!
The cozy atmosphere with soft lighting was perfect for a romantic evening. We opted for the 4-course tasting menu, which included a delightful beef carne asada, though some pieces were a tad dry. The standout was definitely the pan de coco with plantain butter - an absolute must-try! 😍
While the service was slow (it took 2.5 hours for the meal), the dessert, a flavorful torta de zanahoria, was a delightful way to end our night. I'll be back for that dessert alone! 🍰✨
