Wonderful place! The bartender and manager with the grey hair were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
I had the skinny margarita and the shrimp taco and it hit the spot.
The service was very fast as well.
10/10 recommend.
Also the tacos were huge I could only eat one

The customer service was excellent and the food was pretty good.
For the quality of food the price point felt high.
They also include a 20% gratuity that is not optional, which I respect their mission behind approaching it in that manner.
However, I paid almost $20 for two tacos and a glass of water.
I had a Pineapple Al Pastor and a Blackened Baja White Shrimp.
I enjoy trying new things and for as good as the grilled pineapple was the fact that it will add blue cheese on it was deeply bizarre and not at all satisfying.
The shrimp were cooked well.
Honestly, the best part of either Taco was the crispy cheese as shown in my picture of the tacos.
However, I do not see myself revisiting the restaurant.

Madre is fantastic.
I tried the Korean Short rib, Pork belly banh mi, and Pineapple al pastor tacos, and all three were excellent.
I'm no vegetarian, but the pineapple taco was my favorite of the three.
There was plenty of seating on a weeknight, especially with outdoor seating available.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Beer selection, while ipa heavy, was great. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, was a forced 20% "service charge" in lieu of tip for a place where I order at the counter and only interacted with staff when they brought my food out, and took the plate away afterwards.
The service charge didn't necessarily match the service compared to traditional table service.
Nobody even came by and asked if the food was OK, or if I needed anything else, nothing.
But I'm still forced to pay a 20% gratuity.
Just cheeky. But all in all, the food is worth the price, just with they were more straightforward with the pricing model.
I would definitely come back to try more tacos!
