So good the first time we had to go back a few days later.Extensive menu that goes well beyond your standard pho and grilled rice bowls. There are so many options to explore it warrants repeat visits. We enjoyed the bahn mi sliders, salad rolls with pork, lemongrass tofu bowl with vermicelli, and so much more. The spicy fried chicken was spot on for how hot I like it.The steamed bun with fried chicken was also tasty. My favorite was the woven rice noodles with the grilled chicken. We enjoyed an avocado smoothie both visits and the butterfly pea match milk tea was as tasty as it was pretty to look at. Inside it’s slightly nicer than basic.Spacious tables, big windows, serviceable furniture. There’s a big bar if you want to have a cocktail.I find ordering using their app annoying. It has a horrible UX.The customer service was really warm and welcoming the first time when there was an older gentleman working. The second time the staff mainly stayed on their phones when they weren’t working and were friendly but indifferent. That’s ok.Don’t go for the decor or the service.Go for the food. It’s well worth it.
I have been trying to try Lua for awhile now.But learn from my mistakes and double check the open hours before planning a visit.BUT, the wait was well worth it.The food tastes amazing and was surprised by how well things were priced for the great quality. The fish sauce chicken wings were straight from flavortown and the pork banh mi was so well cooked.Definitely want to come back and try new dishes. Thanks for the great service!
Great banh mi sandwiches. The noodle rolls are even better. Nice drinks.I'm glad I tried this place. It's a nice alternative to the usual Vietnamese joints.
