We came down from WI for archery nationals and my boy wanted real bbq.We ended up picking this place and were not disappointed! We had the ribs the first night.Amazing! We went back the next day and got the chicken and a burger.The chicken was the beat my boy has ever had and the only thing bad I have to say is that the burger was so good that I'll never be satisfied with another burger again unless I go to Louisville to get one.Everything was top notch! Chill and the family there were so inviting and cool to hang with! By the time we left we felt like family! Every time we go through Louisville from here on out, we're stopping there to get food and catch up.Thanks for the new friendships and we can't wait to see you guys again! Legit BBQ.The real deal.Coleslaw was delicious.Ribs were perfect.Pork sandwiches were my favorite.The BBQ was just right.My daughter enjoyed the BBQ burger.Great customer service, everyone was so friendly.Worth a stop! You won’t regret it.

Ok, all foodies need to get out of their comfort zone and go to Louisville Smokers where the real BBQ is goin' on. I've had BBQ in Clarksdale MS, New Orleans, Memphis, and the Carolinas, and this beats 'em all. The rib tips are juicy and plentiful; the pineapple coleslaw is genius; the prices are unbelievably fair; and the people who work there are just the nicest. Scratch Shirley Mae's and Big Momma's off your to-do list and get down to 1500 W.Oak.I'll be back 'cause I've gotta eat my way through the entire menu.
