This is definitely a go to spot! Started going here almost 2 years ago and every time I’ve been it’s been an amazing experience! Our absolute favorite server is Yaya, he makes each experience memorable and just brings good energy each time we see him! Seriously can’t rave about him enough! The food is awesome. The menu has a little something for everyone. The appetizers are always good and the portions of everything is more than enough! Normally get the Paneer Makhani medium spice level but tried some new items tonight! Thank you Little India off Downing for being the top dog location!
Came here for restaurant week.Probably will never come back again.Took about 20 minutes for someone to take our order.Took almost another 40 minutes to get said food. Food was meh.We got chicken tiki masala which wasn't that flavorful and fairly plain. The special Naan bread was pretty good at least.I got the cheese garlic one.The appetizers were probably the best part of the meal.Coconut shrimp had good shrimp, but the sauce was ok.The chicken dumplings I got was pretty good as well. We came in a little before 9, so they were open for at least 2 more hours, so it was unacceptable for service to be this slow. There was only 4 tables of people when we got there as well, with only 2 placing orders. The other table placing orders got there at 8:30 and got their food after us.They waited over an hour and I watched as 2 or 3 takeout orders get fulfilled before they even got their food.I think they got some drinks comped for the wait, but I felt bad since they were going to be there for almost an 1:30 without even getting food. Takeout seemed to be slow as well, Took them about 20 minutes or so to fill the orders. I suspect the kitchen is severely undermanned since there should be no problems serving 4 tables out of the entire restaurant. They also didn't honor the restaurant week deal.No giftcard was given either and the pricing was off.(Not the 25$) we expected. But at that point we didn't really want to waste more time since it took forever for the server to come by. I attached the receipt as proof.Kind of glad we didn't get a gift card since I don't think I would want to come back anyways.
This review is based on the lunch buffet. Good variety of vegetarian and chicken options (no lamb). Overall the flavors were on the bland side, maybe a product of a buffet, but a noticeable absence of spice and richness of flavor. Naan is included with the buffet which is nice. Worth a try I suppose, but the standard of Indian food in Denver is getting better all the time.
