Las Palmas

Las Palmas in Nashville on Franklin Rd in Melrose is a cut above what you might find at other Lad Palmas or other Mexican restaurants. This location has an inviting interior, plus a top notch staff that aims to please! The food is delicious and is served steaming hot! I recommend the fajitas and the Rico Pollo!

The prices make it a really great value for the amount of food you get.

Very rarely do I write a bad review about a place that I have eaten at so many times.
However, today was one of the worst experiences ever.
I order the Fajita Nachos with just chicken and cheese dip.
Once my food came out, I took a bite to quickly notice that the cheese on top wasn't the cheese dip.
However, my server was wanting to argue about it saying for certain that it was cheese dip.
I kept saying on multiple occasions that it didn't taste like their cheese dip and tasted just like melted shredded cheese on dry and unflavored grilled chicken.
The server wasn't making any effort to fix the issue and disappeared but never returned.
I told one of the other employees (maybe a runner, server support - Pedro I believe...that I wasn't going to eat this and was done since nothing seemed to be getting done about this matter.
After I made my case, I just got up and left. I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and it has been very good.
I have no idea if it was just an off day or if something else was going on.
Only thing I wish I had gotten was a picture of the poor presentation of what was a $14 plate of food that tasted so bad and wasn't prepared as I ordered it.
