If you're in the mood for West African comfort food, Lapaz African Cuisine hits the spot! I tried the jollof rice, and it was perfectly spiced and wonderfully paired with fried chicken that was golden and tender. The plantains were a standout, crispy on the edges and so delicious. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Just a heads up, the wait for fresh food can be a bit long, but it's definitely worth it.
