Decided to try this place based on reviews and was impressed by how tasty the food was! I had the Crunchwrap and a birria taco both were equally delicious all the flavors were there and wasn’t oily like other places! My best friend ordered the tres leches and hated it, I also tried it and just felt it was very spongy and artificially flavored not a fan I wouldn’t recommend, another thing I would change is instead of the pinwheel chips they give should be changed to chips and salsa, the pinwheels were kind of gross! Other than that everything was great!
Hot new spot off Main St.Word-of-mouth doesn’t lie.Cozy restaurant with prompt and friendly service. You’ll immediately be greeted as you walk through the door.Paper menu showcases a few more options than what their website shows.I’ve never had the original Crunchwrap supreme but their version was delicious.Complimentary house made chips (not pictured) provided.Overall great dining experience.Look forward to checking out the live music.
My wife and I came on a Friday night. We ordered drinks, the chips and salsa, a jalapeno margarita, a beer and the $38 8-taco sampler plate. The food was incredible, possibly the best Mexican food in Middletown. They had live music and the atmosphere was awesome from the artwork on the walls to the hilarious signs on and in the men's restroom.Everything was fantastic until the bill came.I paid the bill, but then I got to thinking that it seemed a little high for two people and what we ordered. So when the server brought me back my receipt, I went over the charges again.Sure enough, what should have been a two dollar addition charge for rice on my taco plate showed up as a $5 dollar charge.I brought this to the attention of my server as I was leaving. Then the woman behind the bar asked what was going on.The server told the woman behind the bar what the issue was. Then the woman behind the bar looked at me and said "well, you already paid, so..." and just sort of shrugged. This definitely put me off.Usually when you point out that you were overcharged somewhere you get an apology and a refund. She (the bar lady) could have just reached into the cash register and handed me 3 dollars. And I probably would have just given it to my server.I didn't escalate it because I didn't want to change the vibe of my evening.Instead of feeling happy and fulfilled I left that place feeling agitated.

Hi John! We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. This is something we will definitely speak to the staff about as it was not handled the way it should have. Our side of rice is $5 but not when you get the taco sampler as you are correct it is only a $2 up charge. We’d love for you to come back for a complimentary item.We thank you for your review as this helps us.
