Kyra's Chicken (Cajun Chicken, Fish, Links, Pork Chops & More!)

I arrived at Kyras @ 7:40 pm, Monday March 25.
And soon as I tried(before I even opened my mouth) to place my order the RUDE female cashier said that she wasn’t going to drop anything else in the grease.
I asked her why not? Because the door was open and they don’t close until 8:00pm. Then the cook reiterated in a RUDE manner that she wasn’t cooking anything else.
I asked if there something already up and she said that it was all accounted for.
So I said ok and walked out to my car.
Then one of the customers who was sitting there waiting for her order ran out and told me that they had food left over.
So when I got back in there I discovered that they had 5 old wings left.
So I asked her what about the fries because there was barely any fries left.
Now a five piece order of white meat is normally $10.81. So I asked her if she could give me a deal for my inconvenience because most of the fries were gone, and since i couldn’t order what I really wanted because they lazily refused to drop just a little more chicken, even though it was still within normal business hours.
Unbelievably she refused to give me a break on some old food w/no fries, that she was going to have to throw away anyway!!!! I failed to capture the girls names but I will no longer frequent their establishments.
And I will tell EVERYONE I meet about how awful they run their establishment.. Business owners need to be made aware when the have these lazy, antisocial, rude, misandrist, selfish and intolerant people who actually hate dealing with people and shouldn’t be in any type of customer service position! Btw, when I read the other negative reviews I’m noticing that it’s coming primarily from black men, I honestly think these women that work there don’t like black men period!

Kyra’s reminded me of home cooked chicken.
It was made fresh to order, the chicken (2thighs & leg) was cooked thoroughly & flavorful.
My order came with a Big juicy pepper! The fries and okra were okay.
I’m glad I had a good experience because other reviews I’ve seen were mixed and I almost didn’t want to try but they’re good.
My gf had the 12pc fried gizzard and let’s just say, she didn’t share with me! Lol Overall, I’d say try them out!

So im a firm believer of minority owned businesses, especially black owned.
I decided to pay Kyra's a visit today for the first time.
Entering into the restaurant it was due to it being a Sunday.
With the restaurant being empty I just knew that my food would be fresh and at its peak.
I approach the cashier, she was a teenager and somewhat welcoming, I proceed to order the Sweet and Spicy chicken sandwich.
If anyone know me, they know I love chicken and spicy.
Anyway she take my order and I receive it approximately 5-7minutes which is not bad.
I open the bag and the presentation is well delivered.
Sandwich look cooked to perfection the fries seasoned at minimum.
I got for the fries first and they are slightly below average for "MY" taste in "MY" opinion.
I finish the fries though because my stomach was on my back.
I proceed to move on to the sandwich.
The sandwich was beautiful and wet with seasoning and spicy.
I take my first bite and instantly fell in love.
That Sweet and Spicy sandwich was on point and spicy just the way I like it.
I will definitely pay Kyra's another visit in the future.
I only ask that yall improve the fries if possible.
Fries are pretty much a staple to the meal, other than great job.
