Sushi restaurant, Japanese restaurant, Teppanyaki restaurant
Kumori is a nice place. At first glance at the sushi station, it looked impressive- everything looked fresh! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.I ordered the Mixed Sunomono salad. The salad was exceptionally delicious and fresh! It consisted of cucumbers, crab, octopus, and shrimp. It was a good portion, too. I also ordered the Spicy Salmon Roll. When ordering the roll, I asked about its ingredients, because I wanted to make certain it was made that way.I was assured it was.The sushi roll was not as the menu described.I am not a sushi connoisseur, which is why I depend on menu descriptions to assist me in making choices. The Spicy Roll was good; however, had it all the ingredients it promised, it would have been great! Sushi roll disappointment aside, I would definitely go back for the Sunomono salad! 😋
My wife and I had a date night. We shared Gyoza and fried rice with crab 🦀 appetizer. We also shared a plate. It had chicken, steamed rice woth vegetables on the side. The food was good.I think our waitress was new.She brought us some sauce we didn't order. No big deal.We took them any😁. The atmosphere was great. They dim lights and nice music. It makes it romantic 😍 .It's a good place to eat.I recommend it.
Really nice restaurant with great food.We stumbled on this place by accident, and I'm glad we did.The spicy salmon tower was delicious, and the miso soup was good, especially on a cold day.Our server was attentive and friendly, and she made the most delicious cucumber and strawberry lemonade. I got the beef teppanyaki, which I do not recommend as the beef was a cheap cut, and it was tough and dry.The main course came out cold even though there were like 5 people in the restaurant, including us at 11 in the afternoon. The vegetables were the frozen Normandy blend type that you can get from the supermarket. It didn't taste anything g like it had been on a griddle or grill, just reheated leftover type of style.Blend, cold, and just meh.Could have done better for $20.I'll just stick to the sushi, but the dipping sauces were good. This will probably be our last time.
