Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion.
In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate.
I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain.
Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel.
I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh.
You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well.
Whenever we’re in the area, this is our spot.

I spent about $50 for take-out at this restaurant & for my first visit i’ll say the customer service was very welcoming.
I ordered several items from their menu and all were pretty good.
The rice and peas- amazing.
jerk wings had the perfect spice level, escovitch fish was good but some parts were over cooked and had a rubbery texture, also would get the sauce on the side to keep the fish skin crisp.
The stew chicken was delicious and not too many bones, the mac and cheese left a little to be desired but the cabbage tasted fresh and well cooked.
Keep in mind they give you a lot of rice and peas, i do wish they provided a bigger portion of veggies/cabbage to balance it out but overall I would patronize this restaurant again!
