Kalei’s Kitchenette

Amazing food and very friendly service!! Tried both the garlic chicken and kalua pork...both were so good! Loved the mac salad and cucumber slaw too.
Will definitely be back again soon.

Wow, we have needed authentic Hawaiian food for a while in PQ and Kalei’s is absolutely amazing!! I popped in for lunch and was greeted right away, and was provided helpful info about the menu. They have weekly specials which are always fun to take advantage of to add some variety but I can see the Garlic Chicken becoming a craving — it looks really good and was recommended by the helpful person at the register. This week’s special was Crab and Salmon Dynamite.
Duh I ordered that! Topped with a tasty sweet sauce you are accustomed to but with WAY fresher seafood! For the sides I got the cucumber salad and rice which were delicious, cucumber salad had crisp cucumbers, onion, and was a nice acidic addition to the plate.
I’m gluten free and have plenty of options besides some of the sauces. I was really impressed by the freshness, portion, and overall quality here at Kalei’s! Takeout packaging was sturdy and packaged neatly.
They offer all different types of Hawaiian Sun which is a must with any item you order.
They also have fun authentic Hawaiian / island snacks that are rare to find - awesome! Saturdays are the only day they offer Poke, which means it’s FRESH!!!!! 😍 Come support this friendly new business and enjoy a local taste of Hawaii 🌺

Best Loco Moco I've had since eating at a place in Hanapepe.
Just an amazing, perfectly cooked piece of beef with a delicious gravy.
