Seafood restaurant
Quite possibly the absolute worst restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of eating at!!! The fact that it was in a shady strip mall in East Nashville should have sent up a plethora of Red Flags, but my wife and I had eaten at one there locations in North Carolina and we loved it, so we threw caution to the wind and went there. We'll start with the food. For starters, we ordered a dozen oysters. They were the only good part of the experience. We chose to build our own platter. We ordered half a pound of shrimp WITHOUT heads, we got three shrimp with heads on.We ordered half a pound of Green Mussels, again we received three mussels. We ordered 8 scallops and there were 8, BUT they were literally the circumference of a nickel.I'm sure that the half a pound of Snow Crab legs were right but we couldn't even open them because they were so rubbery. There were literally only three pieces of corn on the cob and two and a half red potatoes.A decent amount of broccoli that was absolutely uneatable because they were so overcooked. The seasoning (basic garlic butter) had started congealing by the time she poured it on to the platter...the platter that we had to ask for, if we hadn't she expected us to eat straight from the bag. Which now brings us to the service, or should I say the lack there of.When the waitress took our drink order, my friend asked for wine and the waitress said, "Yeah we don't have wine, but we got Champagne beer".My friend asked what champagne beer was and the waitress actually said, "I'm not really sure it's just called Miller High Life...champagne beer." We should have got up right then and left, but unfortunately we stayed. After we initially got our drink orders within minutes she brung out the oysters and as I said before they were good.We then gave our order and within minutes, before the oysters were even eaten, the bag of food and three plates...as if it were already made.I asked if they had a platter that we could empty onto and she acted as if she was put out by doing this.It took longer for her to get the platter than it took to get our food. She brought us one tool to open the Crab legs because she said there wasn't anymore...keep in mind the place was nearly empty. We never saw her again until the check was LITERALLY dropped on the table.Quite possibly the absolute worst and dumbest waitress in the history of the profession. Atmosphere...as I said it's in a shady strip mall in East Nashville. The inside smells of damp and old seafood with mumble rap blasting over the speakers. In conclusion, I would say even if there's a zombie apocalypse happening and this was the ONLY restaurant with food and shelter...STILL AVOID IT AND TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH THE ZOMBIES!!!
I've been here a few times. The food can get pretty sloppy, so they give you very thin gloves, and have thin paper around the table. The food itself is always good quality, it's worth the price.I always get the medium spicy Cajun seasoning, a little spicy but not too much.1/2lb mussles, 1/2lb crab Legs, 1/2lb shrimp is around $35, feeds 2 people.Good date idea, not too expensive. Joey Lan has always been my Waiter, he's always taken good care of me.
Early Birthday lunch with daughter and mom, thanks loves I enjoyed EVERYTHING!! Their food was and always is very delicious 🤤 loven it whether take out or dine in… we’ve been hooked on both ways to consume this delicious food!!! Go get y’all some, some more😁
