I was a little worried when we arrived and it wasn’t super busy. There were two young guys working there and I brought my family.I was expecting lousy service; boy, was I wrong! Our server was so on top of things! He offered great suggestions and provided the quickest and most attentive service I’ve had in a bit.The restaurant has a fun atmosphere that you can tell they put effort into. The food was great! What I also appreciated was that you could choose from a pot of green tea or jasmine tea! I feel like we’re so often not given the choice or even told what it is. Okay, so food.Yum!!! The food came out SO QUICKLY! It was so fresh! The Mongolian beef bao was my favorite. My meat-loving husband said the crispy tofu bao was his favorite. He did order it without cilantro and it came with anyhow; however, we ordered a lot and had a lot going on at the table. It was easy to take off and did not leave a residual taste as it was so fresh.
My go-to asian restaurant in Tallahassee! I’ve been here quite a few times now and it has really grown on me when I have some extra money to spend on a nice dinner. They do have REALLY good and REALLY mid food though, so let me explain my opinions of both. SUPER GOOD- get their skewers (i personally get beef), wings, and their beef ho fun. MID- their buns (the xiaolongbao doesn’t really have soup and the rest are just fine), dumplings (a bit overpriced), and the lettuce wraps (just lacking flavor). I would explore the great options, because they are SUPER good. The service is also great here, keep it up!
We went for eating orange or saseme chicken but they don’t have any of them in their menu.Waitress suggested General TSO Chicken. She said it’s taste is close to saseme chicken. She was right! It was really delicious but not crispy enough.Their fried rice is amaaaaazing! And Lo Mein was great except the large cut green onions in it.So, overall we loved the foods. The atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely authentic 👌 just their cleanings detergents smell is so heavy and irritating. It gave me a headache! The smell of flowers in detergents would suits such a place very well.
