Pizza restaurant, Restaurant
Went with a co-worker on his recommendation, since this was a place he visited often as a kid. Overall, it was ok. Building is definitely older and dated looking, but perfectly fine in a nostalgic kind of way. Walked in and bam!! Right into a long line.Apparently 1130 am is a huge time for lunch rush hour.At 12:00.There was almost no line. When we ordered at the counter, the lady taking the orders was gruff and abrupt but not necessarily, unpolite.I handed her my credit card, she tossed it back...Same with my coworker. Ordered the pizza lunch special and got a side of garlic bread. If you have any kind of appetite, definitely get a side if you're ordering the lunch pizza special, as the pizza is really small.however, the pizza and garlic bread were really good.Overall, Not a bad experience.I definitely would not seek this place out on my own.But if you're in the area and want a taste of Omaha nostalgia, it might be worth a stop in.
The lady that took my order was very nice.I don’t know if this was intentional or what but it was wayy too many olives on the slice of pizza. It had to be about 20 olives per slice.I rated it a three because the crust and the sauce was good.
Great pizza.Onion rings are the best around.Buffalo wings were good.I would go here more often but hours to dine in are not the best schedule for most patrons. You have to be there before or by 530 pm to eat in.You can order pizza to go but most be ordered before 0545 pm.Most people work till 5 or 530.This placed use to be packed with people. Now a steady stream of to go orders mostly and you are limiting the bottom line..making money.I guess they only want take out business but would do more business if they extended hours till at least 730 pm for eat in and 0745 pm for takeout. At least on Fridays and Saturdays.Maybe 700 pm on weekdays. One last thing bar isn't staffed and you have to bother them to send someone to get you a couple of beers.Waiting 5 to 10 minutes to for someone to take timeout from kitchen staff to walk to bar to help you.Oh and you need cash only at the bar?????? Staff one person to sell more beer with your very good pizza.Take card not just cash when your charging 4.50 to 5 a beer anyway.
