Barbecue restaurant, Southern restaurant (US)
Was needed a break between bar hopping and this place was recommended. The sausage was delicious. The sides were pretty good. The brisket wasn’t for my taste, being from Texas and they called it Texas style brisket.
Wanted to like this place more than I did. Really just a tourist trap intended to feed the masses on Broadway street.Neither good, nor bad experience. But certainly pricey. Operations dialed in, as would need to be. I found the green beans to be excellent, but both my turkey and pork shoulder had seen better days. BBQ sauces were served in packets, so difficult to eat if want to try several. $36 for two meat platter, two sides and a water. Buyer beware.
Solid place for BBQ.We wait in line and order at the counter. The food is a bit overpriced for the atmosphere but delicious. One reason I had to drop a star is because I have a food allergy and the cross contamination happening here is crazy. All the various foods touch the same services and the server had the same gloves on for all foods he touched. Not a big deal if you don’t have food allergies, but otherwise be careful. The place has plenty of seating and choice for drinks and desserts. It was a good spot to check out as a visitor to the area. But this likely isn’t a local favorite.
