Jacalito #2 | Mexican Restaurant in Little Havana

Never have I gone to a real authentic Mexican restaurant where the waitress never wrote down anything and kept responding the wrong items.
MICHELADA WITH NO ICE.
THE TACOS, with no sauces and if you don't order an entire order, they can't make you the taco you want.

While the ambiance seemed authentic and it's situated in Little Havana, giving the impression of genuine Mexican cuisine, the experience fell short. I ordered a burrito, expecting a hearty Mexican delight, but what I received was more akin to a chicken wrap than a traditional burrito.
Moreover, the price tag was exorbitant for what was essentially a lackluster meal.
The menu advertised a reasonable price range, but I ended up paying nearly $15 for a dish that should have been $11-12, excluding tax. Speaking of which, the final bill seemed inflated, with taxes amounting to an unexpected $3-4 increase.
Adding insult to injury, they even solicited a tip for a takeout order, which felt unreasonable given the circumstances. Despite its humble appearance in a run-down shopping center, I had hoped for an authentic culinary experience.
Unfortunately, Jacalito Mexican Restaurant failed to deliver on both quality and value.
I'll be sticking to Taco Rico for my Mexican food fix in the future. Overall, a disappointing dining experience that left me reluctant to return.

Nice small establishment.
Located at the corner of a small shopping center.
Parking is extremely limited due to multiple business at the shopping center.
They have outdoor seating which is on the walkway to other business, about 3 tables.
Inside seating available, also about 5 tables.
There's counter seating also available.
Pricing is good $$.
There's a lunch menu available, so make sure to ask for that menu which isn't provided unless you all for the lunch specials ($10.95).
I arrived during early lunch time and it was empty with one waitress to attend.
Service was good and the tacos and lunch bowl (carne asada, lettuce, rice, shredded cheese, pico de gallo y avocado dip) was satisfying.
Overall, not a bad experience.
Additionally, they restaurant purchased a new location, two business over, with an exclusive, small parking lot, but it's currently closed due to construction issues.
